Complete Description
Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, the Nursing Assistant assists patients in meeting self-care and daily needs. This position may provide basic services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Some incumbents may provide care to pediatric patients of age 6 and over. Minimum Education: Nursing Assistant training preferred. Minimum Experience: Previous acute care experience preferred. Required Certification/Registration: BCLS is required. Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
